The company stands by it’s Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade trademark that the essential oils are as close to nature as possible.
doTERRA Review | What Are The Benefits of Using doTERRA Oils?
There are 3 benefits that are derived from using doTERRA oils:
1. Essential oils are antimicrobial
2. Essential oils are anti-inflammatory
3. Essential oils are antioxidants
Many people who are vegan or into living the organic lifestyle have been known to use and even ingest doTERRA essential oils as part of their health maintenance. Although many consumer complaints about ingesting doTERRA essential oils is not safe and recommended as some of them may experience uncomfortable side effects. You can take these oils at your own risk but understand that some oils; not all are very caustic meaning that these oils can burn you because they are really hot and powerfully concentrated.
The following essential oils are NOT to be taken internally (Ingested) are:
The FDA already has made sure everyone in doTERRA and in the future are aware not to claim that these oils treat, prevent or cure diseases. Apparently many consultants were making these claims with no knowledge of the potential fines and regulations against them on a legal level.

The company provides more information and keycodes each oil so that customers know which ones to identify that can be taken aromatically, topically or internally.

Also the company provides additional key codes to identify how to use the oils.

doTERRA Review | The Number 1 Problem Consultants Are Leaving
Although the products are amazing and great and clearly the company is not a scam the question left to ask is then why are so many consultants leaving the company? The answer is simply this too much to do and not enough income or what we call ROI (Return on Investment). The fact that many consultants at first were excited and the momentum was there in the beginning but now it’s like sales are very hard to come by these days.
Times have changed from the old way of giving out samples in the mail to customers and sending out applications to join a business. The best solution to this problem is to learn marketing and advertising skills. These are the same skills we had to learn ourselves in order to grow our own business internationally and we did it 100% all online without having to chase friends and family.
We have tried the doTERRA oils and we have been offered to join the business but we chosen not to simply because we already are laser focused with what we currently have as a business and earn a much higher profit from our sale than selling a few bottles of oils can return. That’s another point I like to point out, what if your customers say no to your offer what happens next? Well obviously you just lost the customer and the sale in your type of business that is why you should have an alternative income stream so you can win on both ends.
doTERRA Review | Conclusion
In conclusion, we have learned a great deal of information both good and bad about doTERRA. The fact is the business itself can be lucrative as long as you don’t dabble building it. You will have to hustle as much as you can both online and offline and without having a strategy or blueprint of how to grow such a large list of leads your dead in the water.
