Tag You’re It! Blogger Interview With Anastacia Hauldridge
Someone has called me out in a Tag You’re It Blogger Challenge so I am all game for this!
Hmm…I wonder what they want to know about me?
Let’s find out…
Oh how exciting! I just been asked to participate in the Tag You’re It Blogger Series Challenge.  Read more…!
Recently I was tagged and challenged by a fellow blogger by the name of Caressa Thompson, author of the blog LatteCuddles.com in her Tag You’re It! Blogger Interview Challenge.  I never been tagged before so I thought it was a great and fun way to get to know other bloggers in the content marketing industry. I don’t mind participating in challenges just as long as it’s going to add value and help people with their blogging struggles.
I been blogging since 2011 and let me tell you it has be a roller coaster of a ride. Â When it comes to blogging you will run into some highs and lows and then you still have to monitor your analytics closely so you don’t waste time writing content that is not going to get read. Â I know alot about blogging since I pretty much have written over 1,000 blog posts between two blogs Rich and I own and I am always learning new things as they change along with Google’s algorithms.
So let’s get this party started right, I been asked some questions and I like to really focus on each of them as best as I can so you get to know more about the way I see blogging through my own eyes.
Tag You’re It | How Does This Tag You’re It Challenge Work?
Basically the blogger writes up a blog interview on themselves first and then write out the name of several other bloggers who would be great to tag and interview themselves with the same exact series of interview questions.
This is a great way to see and network with other writers and bloggers who have experience to share that can teach you about why and how you run your blogging career.
Below are the following questions I have been asked along with my answers to each.
How Did You Get Into Blogging?
In the beginning I was doing video marketing while promoting my network marketing business. Â I never knew blogging was another way to generate attention and earn a living from it if it was done correctly so I jumped in thanks to my business partner and mentor Rich Guzman. Â
He introduced me to blogging as a form of lead generation and at first I was very afraid of learning what blogging requires as far as skills.  I had to learn keyword research, traffic, and search engine optimization and I would try my hardest to avoid this skill but I’m glad I learned it because it is what is paying me a fortune. LOL!
I had to learn what was being written in my industry that was driving traffic and so I would spend a few hours on a Sunday to do my keyword research. Â I would put on some Electronic Dance Music by D.J. Tiesto, have a bowl of fruit or veggies and open up my Jaaxy Keyword Research Tool to start digging for keywords for the weeks worth of blog post topics.
If it wasn’t for my mentor Rich Guzman working so hard to get me to learn blogging through a 90 Day Blogging Challenge I wouldn’t be the master I am today. Â That blogging challenge whip my butt into shape and it is the same challenge I offer every student that works with me to learn and build those blogging muscles.
What Advice Would You Give To A Blogger Starting Out?
My advice to a new blogger would be to first find a profitable niche that you are familiar with and if your not then learn it and get familiar with it.  Second, go look at the top 10 competitors in your niche and find out who is ranking in the top 5 to see what they are doing. Â
Evidently Google must like what they are doing, so study the formula by looking at what they are doing on their blog. Third, put a plan in place because now you have a plan to work with. Fourth, just get your blog posts going even if they aren’t perfect it doesn’t have to be perfect just get it done.  You can always edit and make additions later on because Google loves when you update your blog posts from a digital marketing perspective.Â
Fifth, find inspiration from other bloggers images so inspiration is everywhere all you got to do is visit Pinterest, enter your keyword in the search field and you will find so many resources and content that will spark your creativity.
Last but not least, be consistent with your blogging especially if your blogging for leads and sales. Â This was a hard lesson for even me to learn in the past because I would treat my blog like a hobby and not as a six figure earning business enterprise. Â When I made the mistake of blogging a few times a month instead blogging daily it hurt my business so trust me when I say find a schedule and stick to it. Â If you miss a day be sure to be accountable to yourself and make it up the following day.
What Would Be Your Dream Campaign?
This is a very broad question so I am not sure how to answer this one. Instead I will add a question similar that will have a really great answer.Â
What Would Be Your Dream Lifestyle?
My dream lifestyle is to continue to run my digital marketing business with Rich Guzman and my son from our laptops while living and traveling to different tropical islands. What I do in my business wouldn’t be considered work because it is something I enjoy and love doing which means I would be on my laptop blogging from my beach lounge canopy. I would host together with Rich training seminars that would teach others who we are and how we can help them learn exactly the same formula we followed for success so they can achieve their dream lifestyle as well.
Do You Have A Plan For Your Blog?
Absolutely! This blog is going to always be updated and we plan to add more valuable content and resources for our subscribers.  We are always going to be improving our branding and evolving through the next years as they arrive so we are very excited for what the future holds for AceandRich.com
What Do You Think About Rankings?
I think as far as rankings for beginners is for them not to focus on getting ranked right away. Â Focus on finding your groove and get into the habit of blogging everyday for the first 90 days. Â In order to know about blogging you will have to take the same exact 90 day blogging challenge I did to know what you are getting yourself into and build those muscles as well as learn the discipline of becoming a professional blogger.
Don’t look at getting rankings as a bad thing its actually good that a third party is watching what we do so we know as bloggers if we are beating our competitors in this game. I look at blogging sometimes like its a big game and every blogger is different. Â We are all in the game to win either authority, subscribers or get sales but in the end we both win as long as we do what we are supposed to do organically without any use of Black Hat parlor tricks.
