In today’s blog, I am going to teach you how to share your blog to Slideshare for content syndication and exposure.
Now that your blog post is all published you want to get it out there on as many high authority websites for syndication and more exposure. The only way I have been able to this is to take my blog post and convert it into a PDF that is shared on the website Slideshare.
How To Share Your Blog To Slideshare
Check out this video tutorial on how easy it actually is!
[Tweet “Who would have thought to put a blog on Slideshare? Hmm COOL!”]
To me it just makes sense to SEO Slideshare and its super quick and easy to do once you learn how to do and stay consistent. So what you will start doing if you never done this step before with your blogging is using the Google Chrome App Extension known as PrintFriendly.
I love PrintFriendly it has been a huge paper saver for me as a blogger and all I do is each time I publish my content here on my blog the next step in my DMO (Daily Method of Operation) is to convert my blog into a PDF and upload it to Slideshare for syndication.
Then what I do next is just copy my description from my blog post and copy my keywords and tags to insert into Slideshare and click publish.
Now understand even though you put a url address to like your lead capture page the link is not clickable but I still do it anyhow only because some people know now to copy and paste links that don’t work into a new tab to search.
I do this as well with Instagram and I do get leads from both Slideshare and Instagram simple by just asking the viewer to copy and paste the link into a new tab to visit the full site details.
So far now I have over 330 pieces of content shared on Slideshare and most of them are blog posts so this strategy I have been able to add to my marketing is helpful in additional exposure and lead generation.
Another cool tip that I didn’t share in the video I will give to you today is you can actually embed a Slideshare presentation of your blog post into your website.
Just simply click on the Embed button, pick the size of the widget you want and click copy. Next go to your website in WordPress and then located the TEXT tab to paste your embed code. Save Draft and done!
So now that you have learned how to convert your blog posts and share your blog to Slideshare and you can do this consistently to get leads and eyeballs to your content.
