One of the major challenges people who want to make a second income face is getting started and finding that momentum after to keep it growing. Most people struggle even after the startup phase and then end up quitting simply because they want that instant gratification, you know what I mean they just want it right now.
Well this problem needs to be addressed because there are hundreds of thousands of people on the internet just searching for an answer to this question on how to sustain momentum after startup success in their business.
Before we reveal the answer to how it can be accomplished you need to know why you are struggling and are where you at right now in your life.
The first thing people want and always seems to find an addiction to is progress. You don’t have to be at the goal to feel alive again you just are attracted to the progress.
Most people are not in a “must” situation in their lives compared to people who do have their backs against a wall and are ready and willing to do what it takes to get themselves out of that situation by mastering new skills that will change their life.
That is just how human nature is but you know what?… it is possible because people who are successful actually do things differently than unsuccessful people and I will explain theÂ difference.

When I first earned my first $997 on the internet I was so excited for that amount than I was when I earned $5,000 within my first month in business. Â I felt an energy that was absolutely euphoric andÂ I can remember that I was working the business along side Rich and how he kept telling me not to focus so much on the money but focus on the results.
At that time I didn’t know what I was doing I was just running on pure ‘Ignorance on Fire” mode consistently for 30 days and that is how I got those results. Now when I earned that much money I realized how my mindset was shifting about how I look at earning money as an entrepreneur.
Most people who are unsuccessful will immediately spend the money on cars, jewelry, and such but for a serious entrepreneur I didn’t do that and put it right back into my business so I would scale it up.
Therefore I want you to get that at that point in time in my life it wasn’t about my back being against the wall, being a single mother, working at home and unemployed living with my parents in New Jersey earning peanut size commissions with MLM.
It was about me breaking through my fears of success and finding out more about my own capabilities as a entrepreneur while thinking outside the box.
How To Sustain Momentum After Startup Success | Creating Your Success Ritual
Here are the steps you can take right now if your reading this post and struggling to get past that barrier of finding your own capabilities and gifts like I did.
The first thing I recommend doing is creating a challenge for yourself and the reason I say this is because challenges are designed to stretch you out of your own comfort zone. Â If your not getting uncomfortable then that is not a good sign and you need to work on getting really uncomfortable by doing things differently than you normally do.
First, make a commitmentÂ to challenge yourself for the next 30, 60, or 90 days to do the following activities and tasks. Â Commit to doing something once a day to condition your mind so you can get strong and follow through with your goal. Â This one thing could be something you can listen to like a training audio or personal development audio, or watching a personal development video on YouTube, or even reading a Chapter of a personal development book a day.
What you are going to do is commit yourself to do it consciously so that you can get in that state where you will follow through.
Second, you want to get clear onÂ why this is a must for you? You didn’t decide to be involved in a business because your back is against the wall but because you want to master a skill in life that can create some freedom.
You know your not going to be able to master this skill over night but you already got the system and the plan in place where you are going to commit to doing one thing a day and focus on learning one subject per week.
Focus on what we call chunking pieces of learning activities, you know don’t try and do it all at once in one day because that will just overwhelm you. Â Think about how you would eat a elephant, one piece at a time right.
So for example you can focus on the first week where you are going to learn and figure out what the right product or industry is. Â Second week you can focus on something like basics of building traffic and each week you are going to keep working on that progress until you reach your goals whatever it may be.
Whether it be you getting to your first $300 or the first $1,000 a week or even reaching your first $5,000 like we did. Â Once you start to see those type of results that is when you are going to get the most excited and that is when you will get momentum.
You have to take baby steps to get past your startup phase in order to succeed in anything you put your mind to regardless it is running a business, losing weight, or wanting to travel the world.
If you believe there is very little potential in yourself then what does that do to your believe? Â Your belief in yourself is weakened and you obviously won’t take any action.
But if you get yourself in a state of certainty then you will take massive action and the results will come which charges up your brain to saying, “HEY THERE SEE I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT!”.
How many people do you know is like that and thinks like this that you have had conversations with right? Lots I bet. So we got results in our minds that we want but you must visualize what you are going to do to get those results, focus on the actions and what people who already in that state do then model after them.
A great quote I heard from one of my favorite actors and mentors of success is Arnold Schwarzenegger he said, “Don’t listen to the Naysayers!”.
People will always tell you that you aren’t going to have what you want and to stop dreaming about things that don’t happen for people like you. Â In all honesty, we love these people and appreciate their opinion but it is not valid and just keep moving forward on what you got to do without their support or approval.
Your different than most people and your better than the status quo, so you already have everything you need to be successful.
Believe in yourself and take massive action because we believe in you and know you can have everything you deserve in your life. It all depends on how bad you want it?
