Faster Network Marketing Recruiting Secrets Revealed
In Network Marketing you hold the title of a Network Marketer that means you are paid a commission to market and advertise for the company you are a distributor for. Distributors hold many titles as well and alot of inexperienced marketers claim they are either agents, associates, marketing executives, presidents, ambassadors, and etc. its all the same thing its just a fancier way to distinguish you as an Independent Contractor of the company.
Now that you know that I want to share a secret with you about my mentor and business coach Rich Guzman. According to Rich’s success story he built a team in his previous Network Marketing company of over 4,000 distributors. Most people think to achieve that kind of growth requires the recruitment of a heavy hitter or buying a MLM genealogy list of thousands of leads and signing them up. Nope! that is not how it happened.
The way Rich achieved his success and built such a massive team in such a short period of five months earning six figures is because he followed the following things and found quality leaders who led to that success. See unlike other leaders who don’t give credit where credit is due, we keep it real and share the truth about our success because we care.
Once you decide on the type of Network Marketing business you are going to be marketing for you must learn to stay committed and see your business through with a good run. This doesn’t mean trying the business out by doing a few cold calls to see if you get any sales, passing out a few business cards to see which prospect is going to call you about your business opportunity, doing a few home parties and giving away your samples, or posting a few Facebook status updates about you looking for 3-5 people to join your team.
2. Posture Yourself
When you are speaking to prospects in person or on the phone you must always 100% posture yourself. Posturing yourself basically means to speak with authority but not be a rude and arrogant person or what I call a “Smart Ass”. Building your posture skills takes self-confidence and skill therefore you need to practice with your mentor or a running buddy can help you. Try and study other leaders in your Network Marketing company and listen to how they conduct their meetings, schedule their appointments and handle peoples objections, that is how I learned to posture myself and I been recognized as a leader that people are open to speak to without holding back information.
3. Sift And Sort For Quality Prospects Not Quantity
The most important tip I can give you is to focus on finding quality prospects by sifting and sorting through the contacts in your list who are not qualified to be in your business. When Rich and I used to build for the last Network Marketing company we were involved in we used a “Prospect Profile Sheet” that had a list of pre-qualifying questions to help us determine if the prospect was a great candidate or not. Its okay to let people know that they don’t qualify and disqualify them if their answers to these questions don’t match up with what you are looking for in a potential business partner or team member.
Stop thinking and using the same old approach of “Hey you would be great in this business!”, How in the heck do you even know if you haven’t even interviewed the prospect yet.
4. Always Be Learning, Stay a Student of the Industry
Just because you attend your Network Marketing company team calls or training webinars on a sometimes if my time allows it basis doesn’t mean you are getting trained. Each time you miss out on that training webinar or conference call training you are shooting yourself in the foot and delaying your success in your progress. Those calls and webinars may be just what you need to help you understand how the business is doing and learn what success nuggets of the leaders are working so you can model after them.
Self education is the best way to stay a student of the industry, therefore you should always be reading books in your industry, listening to audios and watching videos that will help increase your self worth and value to the marketplace.
5. Be Consistent
When you are working your business and doing your tasks you need to be consistent. Consistency is the key to success and getting the results you want in life and business. All of your work will pay off in the end, it may not seem like it now as you’re doing your tasks but it’s going to happen trust us we know.
Don’t finagle with your business and stick to a firm schedule of hours that is just for your business operations. Take calls only if your prospect has made an appointment, don’t be desperate be professional…remember posture yourself. You are in charge of your business and as a business, it should be treated with the respect of an entrepreneur not the disrespect of an employee.
6. Follow Up Is Key
Yes, Follow UP! never drop the ball if you have to call or email your lead or prospect you should do it within a suitable time frame of 24-48 hours. This will allow time for any delays between you finishing up with them and gives the prospect enough time to think about the first instructions during the interview you gave them. When you follow up only allow a short time of less than 15 minutes to either check in on their decisions, find out if they signed up, order their products, etc.
7. Step away from what you are told by your upline to do and haveÂ a strategy
Last but not least the secret to Rich’s success was because of his own strategy not his uplines. He learned from his own failures that uplines will only share what is working for them, but it has nothing to do with the impact on your business. See even though you are all in the same company doesn’t mean you will reach the top of the compensation plan like your upline did. There is only one way and that is to have a strategy through a system. Network Marketers don’t operate with strategy or their own system, they only work the business based on what they are taught and told to do as far as “old school” recruiting methods. Internet Marketers are a bit different because we work our business with a strategy that produces results plus we have a system that does all the selling and telling for us for our type of business model.

You may think that your Network Marketing company or business model or products are the best in the world but honestly when it comes to recruiting your prospects don’t care about any of those details. All your prospect wants to know is what you are going to do to help them reach their goals and if you don’t got yourself together then why should they even waste their time joining you. I’m telling you it will all come together if you follow these 7 tips we have shared with you and make sure to use the prospect profile sheet during your prospecting calls.
