Do You Have A Victim Mentality | Video Recap by Rich Guzman
When I first started back in my journey back in 2008 I didn’t know what I was doing.  I just thought things was going to be easy  and not as hard because you see people have success.
You figure if they can do it so can I right, but the reality is you don’t know who the individual is and you don’t know their background or what they been through and don’t know how long they been doing it for.
I thought well why can’t I have success? and why is it that someone else can have success?
I felt that I had that victim mentality in the beginning because I expected it to be a certain way and that is not the way it goes.
Let me give you an example if you are involved in any home based business or network marketing company,  or top tier affiliate marketing company.
You paid money into something and things are not working out your way but somebody else is having success and you’re not is where you get mad.
The frustration that comes with that is people think that they are the ones that have to have the success when reality is you have to check in with yourself.
You have to find out who you are because we expect things to happen and we don’t have the patience and we don’t understand that it’s more about us not the opportunity we are apart of.
We feel lie things are going great and are happening and then once we lose steam that is when things start to go downhill. Â The reason why this happens is sometimes our expectations are too high in the beginning.
The reality is to become an entrepreneur it is all about the journey not the destination. During that journey you must understand that YOU yourself cannot be expecting something immediately right away, even in 90 days or I’m going to say your first year.
If you have had success in your first year then great that is fantastic I commend you. Â But don’t expect success because when your brand new you’re going along a journey.
Metaphorically speaking you are taking a mask off of your face and you’re putting it down beside yourself and you’re becoming completely vulnerable to who you are.
When we take the mask completely off that is when we are taking full responsibility of who we are and what we’re doing. Â What I realized when I started growing success in this business I accepted responsibility for all my daily actions on what I do everyday.
I have taught Anastacia the same thing and it wasn’t easy for her in the beginning because she had a victim mentality where she came from.
I’m not saying that this is your fault but you were brought up a certain way and when you become an entrepreneur and you take that mask off, take the gloves off and it’s time to just go at it…its’ about YOU.
It’s about who you are going to become and its not about what you’re getting. Â You have to get rid of that victim mentality and stop expecting that you deserve this and deserve that.
Do You Have A Victim Mentality | Final Thoughts
Here is the honest truth about the victim mentality, the majority of people who are unsuccessful in life or in business is not because of something or someone but it’s because they don’t take responsibility for their own lives.
You have to understand that the world doesn’t owe you anything and that is just keeping it real. Â It is a privilege and an honor to be able to have the ability to create your own economy and build a business for yourself. It doesn’t matter what anyone thinks all that matters is what you think and know about yourself and why you are doing what you do to create success.
It doesn’t matter what anyone thinks about you; all that matters is what you think about yourself.
