3 Ways To Overcome Procrastination
Are you stuck on over processing your thoughts?
Do you find yourself over procrastination things on your to do list?
What is causing you to feel this way and why?
I have some tips to help you here…
The best ways to overcome procrastination is to have something that drives you that makes you wake up in the morning and just go after it. I always said motivation is short lived but inspiration can last a lifetime and you will never stop going after what you believe in.
Just don’t try to expect big things to happen right off the bat, focus on realistic goals that seem simple in your mind cause if you feel its unrealistic then it will be,then you will be disappointed. Its like this, lets say you just picked up the guitar and you never played before don’t expect to be a pro at it right away it takes time, you have to practice and stay consistent over time.
3 Ways To Overcome Procrastination Revealed
1. Stop being distracted, in a world with so much technology we have cell phones with notifications letting us know whats always going on with the world text messaging is a serious culprit in this matter.
Shut down your phone and schedule to check these messages at the end of the day I guarantee that you will be 10 times more productive.
2. Facebook is another time waster if your not careful, we live in a social media world now and its easy to get caught up in many peoples conversations that are pointless and all this will do is rob your time to the point you will be asking yourself at the end of the day what did I get done today.
If you have a task to do on Facebook that is productive to you then what you can do is shut off Facebook messenger so no one can disturb you while you are completing your work.
3.Email is one of the biggest time wasters the focus here is schedule a time to check your email, you should not spend no more then 30 mins checking your email once in the morning and the other in the evening. Have your clients email you directly than calling, that way you can check all your messages right through email than calling you that way you schedule to call them back.
Ways To Overcome Procrastination | Conclusion
This is very powerful cause you just condense time by killing 2 birds with one stone.
In closing I just want to say that overcoming procrastination does not have to be that difficult just take it one bite size chunk at a time. Be sure to keep it real simple, start doing just one task per day then when you feel like you mastered doing one thing solid for 30 days then add the second task then do two more tasks solid for 60 days.
