Distractions are getting much worse with all new updates and Facebook notifications about the newest game apps. Even just only one email notification letting you know that someone either liked, commented, or shared a post from one of your Facebook Groups is annoying isn’t it? Course it is.
Currently, so farÂ I have over 100 Facebook networking groups I am a member ofÂ and so you can imagine what my inbox looks like. It’s awful getting every single alert when a facebook friend Â is liking, sharing or commenting in a groups post.
I haven’t seen much information on the internet explainingÂ how to turn this annoying email Facebook notification off so therefore I made this quick how to video to help you if your dealing with this problem.
If you’re a Facebook user who practically uses it daily like myself then you want to know how to control these notificationsÂ now before you have a out of control inbox stuffed with tons of unread Facebook notifications.
Â How To Turn Off Facebook Notification
Although the Facebook Notification feature is not brand new, it’s important to know what each icon is supposed to do. Â If your a newbie then I will pay close attention to these steps I am demonstrating so that you can do it yourself on your own.
Right from your inbox either in Gmail or Yahoo there is a helpful feature underneath your Facebook Notification that you just received and all you got to do is click on “Edit Email Settings”.
This is take you directly to your Facebook Notification Settings area.
Whether you have 1 group or are a member of 500 groups I highly recommend you only grant permission to a few groups that you are a Admin of than every single group.
As I demonstrated in the video tutorial in order to turn off the Facebook Notification for your groups just go to “Group Activity” in the notifications area in Facebook and select the drop down arrow to choose Off.
